Annotation

LeBlanc looks at the role of creativity in the political thought of Camus and Weil. He begins with a discussion of their respective epistemologies, goes on to look at their writing on necessity, power and force, followed by a discussion of the relationship between artistic creation and political ethics. LeBlanc next reflects on these themes in the work of Weil and Camus. His work concludes with a presentation of what he calls ‘creative politics’.
