Search Tips

To Browse the entire bibliography by author, publication type, language, year or keyword  either  press search on the main search page (with nothing entered in search box) or go to the advanced search page https://simoneweil.library.ucalgary.ca/bibliography/  –  NOTE browsing by author retrieves only those works for which the individual was the primary author; to locate all works either written or edited by an individual, you need to enter the author’s name (last name, first name) in quotes in  the search box, for example “David, Pascal”

To Search for Exact Phrase use quotes – for example “Cahiers Simone Weil”  – unfortunately there is currently no easy  way to limit the online bibliography to works published in a particular journal.

Full Record Display –  the initial display provides very brief information.  Select the title to get full bibliographic information, keywords, annotations and available links for full text.
