Annotation

The thought of Simone Weil and Spinoza in relation to freedom of action, causation, (both internal and external), ‘purity in action’ and God and nature are compared and contrasted in an attempt to show that apparent contrasts are less significant then one might initially think. A more in-depth comparison, it is argued, will yield more similarity between the views of these two thinkers.
