As indicated in the title, this dissertation is an exploration of Weil’s cosmology. It begins with a discussion of Greek as compared to modern western cosmology, and then goes on to look at two common interpretations of Plato’s Timaeus, followed by a presentation of Weil’s interpretation. Radzins next considers Weil’s notion of ‘artistic creation’ in some depth. The dissertation concludes with a discussion of what Radzins labels Weil’s “Trinitarian cosmology”. |
