Annotation

Drawing on the work of Simone Weil, as well as Augustine and Aquinas, Springsted argues theology is more than intellectual reflection about religious experience but is itself experiential in that it may be spiritually transformative for the person engaging in it. As such, it is not something that can be done from a disinterested intellectual distance.
