Forbes looks at Grant’s essay: “Faith and the Multiversity” in which he identifies three main themes: the relationship between technology and justice; the relationship between Simone Weil’s view of faith and that of students in the modern university and finally Heidegger’s thought in relation to Christianity. In the section on Weil, Forbes discusses Grant’s views on a number of issues including love, justice, faith, intelligence and science, all of which he says were influenced by Weil’s thought. He goes on to especially emphasize the importance of Weil for Grant’s understanding of faith. |
