In this final chapter, Rhees looks on one of the more controversial aspects of Weil’s thought: her views on the Old and New Testament. Here he briefly notes what he sees to be some differences between the tone of the Gospels and the rest of the New Testament, particularly the letters of Paul and then goes on to briefly defend Weil’s views of the Old Testament as not necessarily arising from prejudice. |
