Schmidt reflects on George Grant’s reading of Simone Weil and the influence she had on his thought. He is particularly concerned to refute the claim that Simone Weil, and through her influence on him, George Grant, were gnostics. To this end, Schmidt gives careful consideration to the aspects of Weil's thought that give rise to such a claim, drawing on other parts of her work to argue against such an interpretation. |
